Inactivating a User Permission File

You can choose to inactive the User Permission (Configuration) File created by you. To inactivate, perform the following steps:

NOTE
Once you inactivate a User Permission (Configuration) File, you cannot activate it again.

  1. From the menu pane, navigate to User Management > User Permissions. This opens User Permissions Files tab.
  2. In the User Permission Files tab, search for the required configuration. You can also choose to use the Basic or Advanced search options provided to you.

The Odessa system allows you to perform two types of searches across the application – Basic and Advanced.

Basic search

You can choose to search for an entity based on basic search parameters such as Name, Id and so on. For this, select the search criteria from the dropdown and enter the search keyword.

Advanced Search

Clicking the Advanced option opens the Advanced Search window that allows you use a combination of search parameters to narrow down your search for a specific entity. Here, you use a variety of syntaxes and queries to perform specific searches.

  1. Select the required configuration and click . This opens the Security Configuration tab.
  2. Clear the Active check box to inactivate the User Permission (Configuration) File.
  3. Click on the bottom right to save the changes.
