Creating a User Permission File
The Security Admin can put up all the Security Configurations in a file. This file would contains the lists of permissions provided against various roles for different entities, transactions, fields and tasks in a single excel file having different tabs. The Security Administrator role allows you to upload this file in the system. Entire content of the file is parsed and loaded into memory when the application starts.
- From the menu pane, navigate to User Management > User Permissions > User Permissions Files. This opens User Permission Files tab.
- Click
. This opens the Security Configuration tab. - Enter the Name of the file that is being uploaded.
- In the Configuration File field, click the text box to select a file to upload.
- Optionally, you can enter the Description of the file.
- Click
on the bottom right to save the user permission file.
NOTE
In case of errors, you can choose to override the warnings by selecting the Override warnings checkbox at the bottom of the tab, and clicking Submit once again.
